Forecast length and forecast step interval: maximum forecast length is 72 hours. Step interval is 1 hour.
Runs per day: twice a day, 00 and 12 UTC.

“KHAB-15” is based on the advanced version of Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF-ARW) v. 3.4.1.
Results of the model “Khab-15” are used as initial and boundary meteorological data for marine surge forecasting model for the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk.
